Chelsey Bryson

Chelsey Bryson is a Project Specialist with the Pacific RISA / NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnership (RISA/CAP) in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. In this role, she works with a variety of technical partners and stakeholders to support the use of climate information in decision making in the Republic of Marshall Islands and Palau. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between climate science and adaptation policy to support actionable solutions for decision makers in the Pacific Islands region. In her previous role at the Center, she supported the development of the Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment (PIRCA) for the Federated States of Micronesia.

Chelsey completed her undergraduate degree in Marine Science at UH Hilo, after which she worked as a marine technician in Hawaii and Seychelles. She later coordinated coastal resilience projects across the Pacific, East Africa, and the Caribbean at The Nature Conservancy in Washington, DC while earning her Master’s in Global Environmental Policy from American University. Chelsey is currently a J.D. candidate at the University of Hawai’i’s Richardson School of Law, Environmental Law program.
